Thermal Beacon’s OEM Modules for SAR Applications
The Thermal BeaconTM is a unique infrared emitter that radiates in the thermal spectrum (most efficiently at 3-5 micron) and does not emit radiation in the visible or the near infrared region. It is based on solid-state technology with no moving parts, making a lightweight compact product, with low power consumption able to fit in a small handheld radio. Combining a Thermal Beacon with the RF beacon will improve significantly the chances to retrieve a survivor in case of emergency on board Yachts, Planes & passengers, Vehicles & emergency rescue teams like mountaineers, skiers, oil drillers, etc.
